What I Learned
In this unit, I learned that when all else fails... rainbows! I had a difficult time trying to pick one thing I would want to put on a sweatshirt. When I learned that it had to be at least 4 colors, the first thing that came to mind was a rainbow. I almost immediately knew which image I wanted to use when I searched for some, and so I went with it. It was more difficult than I expected, when I did the image trace in illustrator, it messed up the lines a lot. I spent a while adding, subtracting and altering anchor points and paths on the expanded image after the image trace. It took a while to do all 7 arches but I finished and it turned out really good. I definitely learned how to manipulate the lines a lot better because I had a lot of practice while making the file. I also learned how to use a heat press machine. It was very quick and easy, at least for my design since it was just 7 arches that lined up within each other.
